Political Capital Points

ThePoliticalCapital.com is the ONLY political and current events discussion forum that pays YOU to post! We have successfully implemented a system where members earn points for each post they make. The points, called "Political Capital", can be redeemed for prizes in our TPC Shop. PC points are transferable to other members (creating a sort of "economy" in our forum).

The PC points system works a follows:

  • For each post you make you will earn a 5pc bonus plus .05 PC Point per word with a maximum if 15 PC Points per post.

  • Additional PC Points can be acquired (at a rate of 1000pc per dollar) by donating to ThePoliticalCapital.com.

  • PC Points convert to $1 per 1000 points and are redeemable via a shop item (click the shop>buy stuff button). Conditions apply, see below.

  • PC Points ARE transferable to other forum members.

  • PC Points can be used to purchase items from the TPC Shop.

  • PC Points can also be used to purchase items from one of our partner sites: K&L's Emporium.

If you have any questions concerning the PC points system, please send a PM to Sledge.

I'll post when I add new stuff to the shop (right now we're kind of light), but soon we'll be adding many more items both low cost and upper income bracket stuff. Start earning your points now so when we add the item you've been waiting for, you'll be ready to pounce...like Barney Frank on a Justin Timberlake album.

* PC Points have no cash value. There is a shop item that allows you to convert your pc to cash via PayPal. You must use this item in order to receive payment. ThePoliticalCapital.com reserves the right to refuse to honor the shop item if fraud, cheating, or abuse is suspected.

Increased the per word point to .05 (from .01) and doubled the max per post to 5 (from 2.5). Now a 100 word post will net you 5 points. Happy posting!

Disclaimer: But if we are talking about what is realistic, we can increase taxes. And spending. That won't solve anything, but that's the most realistic 'solution' for the government.

All Political Capital points have been restored (plus what you've earned since the upgrade) to the top ten accounts and to anyone who has been active in the last month. I have a hard copy of all accounts so if anyone who hasn't posted in a month would like their points please send me a pm.

New shop. This whole thread will be rewritten soon, I just wanted to give you guys a heads up on what's going on. I've installed an online store and have started stocking it with goods. Everything is priced in PC points although if you choose to outright buy something, a cash value is also provided. Keep your eyes on it, I'm going to be adding TONS of stuff. Some expensive and some not.

Doubled the maximum amount that can be earned per post to 10. Now 1000 (200 word or more) posts will earn you points worth $10!

Added a 5pc bonus per new post. Now, for a new topic that is 200 words or more you can earn a total of 25pc. 1000 new topics (200 words or more) will net you points worth $25. 1000 new posts (200 words or more) will net you points worth $15. Happy posting.
